Well the stairs is quite tedious... All you have to do is simply draw a circle of a radius of 1 meter, then simply calculate how many steps it takes to go up to the second floor. (So that the stais lands to the second floor accurately) Once its done, then simply draw "pie lines" and just push pull.
Well if you have a PC with good specs, it **should** be able to handle almost everything you did in sketchup. However, even with 4GB of RAM and 512MB graphics card, it still can rip the memory hell out of my computer.
I remembered I did another sketchup project that was over 150mb.
Well the lights, they were rendered in photoshop. I exported the best camera view of a room and simply "snap" that view. I recommend that you export at a high resolution like around 6000 pixels... Then you have maximum quality control. When you resize it, there'll be less thicker contour outlines visible.
