Nice shots, incredible progress

It wouldn't be a bad thing if construction did shutdown for a while though, they can't be practicing too much social distancing on site and it's better safe than sorry.

It’s ridiculously unnecessary to shut down construction due to the coronavirus.

Looks like they're back working today, phew. I do wonder how jobs are dealing with supply-chain related hiccups.

This thing spreads in mysterious ways and obviously there are a lot of people in close proximity on construction sites. I agree it's probably okay but with cases skyrocketing it may not be the worst idea to shut down for a couple weeks.

Cases are really skyrocketing. People are just being tested now. And the base case assumption has always been that most people will “get” it (though many will not have symptoms).

Top down - three scoops and it's a load - they were pulling clay out as fast as the trucks could back up and then pull back out.

Hello everyone. I'm basically new to the site, been lurking for 15 years or so. I have a friend who does highrise construction, concrete specifically, on highrises downtown and he offered to feed me images from one chicago, one of his current worksites. So please excuse the phone camera quality, but I should be able to regularly give photo updates from within the site.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but how do I upload images. I keep giving the url to the pic on my imgur account, but the post isn't being created, likely due to this site's rules regarding crediting, but it's an image I've uploaded myself to imgur, so how do I make this work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. . . you need to use the BBCode [IMG]value[/IMG] where value = URL of the image you're trying to display. . . here's the link to the BBCode functions:

https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode

There is an 'Insert Image' icon when you compose a post as well that asks you for the url and will then insert the tag for you.

On Imgur click on the image you want to post and copy the 'Direct Link' url for use on the forum. On imgur you can choose between Original and various thumbnail sizes and it will modify the direct link with that size.

Hope that helps, - looking forward to your pics.

Wish they had a camera on this one, especially watching them dig out the bottom, would be cool to see some of that.

There was a webcam from Oxblue that I was able to find but the camera login stopped working and I'm trying to find a new login.
