The 52 acre complex of new development by American Fidelity at 9000 N. Broadway has been given a name.
The Half
This is signify that the development is just about halfway between downtown OKC and downtown Edmond.
Someone at OKCTalk checked it out on google maps, and, indeed, it really is located at about the halfway point.
They have a logo for this:

Basically a morph of the letter 'h' and the 1/2 symbol.
Which is a little bit goofy.
On the other hand... it's kinda cool, actually.
They announced the name a couple of weeks ago and with it a website and facebook page.
Followed by a 'launch announcement' event at the site with some speakers and press coverage.

And it appears they have some branding goodies in store:
Here's a recent aerial of the site they posted on their facebook page.

The initial development announced for this project was
Flix Brewhouse:
And this has been in construction for awhile now.
Here's a recent shot:

They also announced that Dolese Bros, a concrete supplier, would be
moving their headquarters there.

Then they announced the development of OKC's first
Chicken N Pickle:

This has not started yet.
But they filed a building permit about a week ago.
So construction should start on Chicken N Pickle fairly soon.
So those are the three developments for 'The Half' that we know about.
But more are planned.
Including: restaurants, office buildings, and a couple of hotels.
Additionally: ponds, bridges, and over one mile of pedestrian paths throughout the property.
Here are a few pics from the 'launch announcement' event:

So this will be a fun project to watch.
