With this I hope to start solving, in one way or another, an issue that has been irking me for quite a while.
Given some of my own "test cases" which I can show if someone's interested, as well as
others' experiences with determining heights from Google Earth, I feel motivated to bring some suggestions for updates here.
What follows are several buildings (but this presumably just scratches the surface!) for which I found differences of a few meters or more between the published values and the ones obtained with GE. In a couple of cases, I list official values which roughly match the ones obtained with this method.
