Old Delhi - (and its surroundings) are what most tourists see when visiting Delhi. It has the Red Fort and the Jama Masjid - two humongous landmarks set in a sprawl of chaotic urbanization.

^ What's happening in pic #3? Is that some building and road construction (looks like some the building on the right is occupied)?

The photographer lives in the building in #1.

Thanks for the answer sc, and it seems as though India and China are having a race to see who can build the most hi-rises.

The dividing line between two cities - the chaotic Shahjahanabad (old Delhi) of the mighty Mughal empire and planned New Delhi of the imperial British Raj. Add to the mix 60 years of babucracy since 1947.
