A new building proposed for a prime downtown location. It's kind of a scaled back version of a previous proposal by a different developer which didn't make it through the approval process. Hopefully this one has a better chance. From the Ithaca Voice:

I'm not sure if this is good news or bad. It's related to a new tallest building for downtown, and the article (from the Ithaca Times) does mention some financing issues for the project; Harold's Square.
