It doesn’t feel as mild as I was hoping. It’s great, especially for November, but there’s still more of a chill than I was expecting.

A beauty day out there yesterday, sunshine all day and 10.8C . Heading up to 9C today with mostly cloudy skies, a bit of sun possible.

6C right now. The forecast when I looked yesterday was for 14C but now we’re not expected to get any warmer.

Looks like we will hit +1 today, then -1 all weekend. Sun has some heat in it and the ground still has some heat so the snow is melting a bit. but it looks like this is here to stay now. The river is freezing up as well. 6 more weeks until the sun starts coming up again.

Some shit in the forecast apparently. All anyone was talking about leaving the office. It was like an alien invasion - phones dinging, people checking them, then talking about snow.

6C and more clouds than sun this afternoon. More sunshine before noon. Pretty typical of this time of the year temperature wise.

Got down to -1C last night (at 1AM).

The warmspot was Victoria, BC at 11.1C

^ Yup, very elevation dependent right now. It's wet snow where I live, but nothing is sticking. Alternating between snow and rain. We live at about the same elevation, SHH, though you're about a km closer to the harbour.

Waterford Valley (Downtown): 2.6 degrees
CBC University Avenue (mid-elevation): 1.9 degrees
Airport (mid-elevation): 0.7 degrees
Paradise (high elevation, inland): 0.9 degrees

After nearly a foot of snow fell in Castlegar in the last 2 days the sun and blue sky has appeared.

Today looks like a repeat of yesterday, mix of sun and cloud and a high around 1C. Next 7 days looks fairly decent as well, mostly sunny and highs in the positive single digits.

Currently a mix of ice pellets and rain now. We had a very brief amount of time where wet snow was accumulating, then it switched back to rain. Precipitation type is all over the map today.

Crisp cold day but very sunny between KW & London. Saw many farmers harvesting their corn, and near Phillipsburg, sweet potatoes! Very therapeutic driving north on hwy 23 with all the corn fields spreading out for miles and miles. A few very photogenic moments around Kintore and Kirkton but I kept driving.
