A bit of rain to scare this Trinity Bellwoods hipster away from the crowds:

modern home spotting around the corner on Robinson:

11 years ago I almost bought the house one of them replaced for $279k. Dumbest mistake of my life not buying it. I do like these replacements, but an 1880s Ontario Gothic cottage has more character.

0C and snowing. A quick 10 cm. This needs to melt ASAP. Wayyyy too early. Thankfully the new 6-7 days are going to be mild with even overnight lows staying above freezing so the snow cover we have now will likely be gone.

Low of -5C (wind chill of -11) this morning.

The warmspot was St. Catharines/Niagara, ON at 10.8C.

Our snow is melting away. We had about 10-12cm on the ground early this morning from Sundays snowfall. Now we already see green patches due to the rain. By the end of the day tomorrow (10C high) , most of the snow will be history.

Heading up to 8C on Friday, 5C on Saturday, and 10C on Sunday with sunshine.

It’s still best kind in St. John’s. Chilly but grass is green and ground is bare.

Note to self: "The plural of anecdote is not evidence."
