I totally agree! And it pisses me off soooo bad. UNLV is finally starting to put a decent team together... But honestly, how does SDSU continue to suck?!

When was the last time they had a winning season? I have been following college football since around 1989 (at the young age of 10) and cant remember SDSU having a winning season in at least 10 years...

Ya, I can't believe they are still keeping Brotzman in there. He has already missed 6 this season.

They'd rather go to the beach and smoke pot than play football in San Diego.

I am a die hard UTE fan, but am really hoping for BSU and TCU to run the table this year. To see BSU up to 5th after week 4 is amazing. If they stay healthy (mainly at QB) I do not see them dropping a game.Sure their schedule sucks, but the WAC is the WAC and few AQ teams want to play them. The question is if their strenght of schedule will drop them in the BCS rankings towards the end of the season and lift an unbeaten TCU team above them. The overall strenght of the MWC and WAC will play a major role in that.

What I would really love to see more Big 12, Big 10, and SEC teams come play in the mountains. The current system discourages those teams from travelling and it seems they rarely schedule a road non conference game unless it is against a team that if they fall, it doesn't really kill them (USC vs Ohio St. for example)

You don't have to have a NFL team to be one of the top "Sports City". Salt Lake is known to have a really good fan base with the teams that they have such as the Jazz, Real Salt Lake and Collage football.
By the way Salt Lake also did include Prove with BYU.

Nice intelligent response with the personal blows. I guess when you've got nothing else...

But enough about your bitterness. I'm surprised Salt Lake would be that high as well, and even close to Denver, considering Denver has so many major teams. Despite the inaccuracy of many of these types of lists, hopefully this can help lure more major sports to Salt Lake.

Here's to Idaho who beat Colorado State last weekend with ESPNU covering the game. It was probably one of the first televised Vandal games on an ESPN network in a long time.

I think BSU has done wonders for Boise's sports scene. They just need to wait for more population to feed off. I could a see an NFL team there in the not-so-distant future. I'm not sure if there's much support for the other major sports though.

How big is Boise? Do you really think they are big enough for a NFL team? I would love for Pueblo and Colorado SPrings to have one but I dont even think we are anywhere near the size that can support one.
