Need Help With Vray - Sketchup This is a stupid problem to be having

"This is a stupid problem to be having
but it is a problem nonetheless"

How do I stop my Spot light from emitting light through walls and floors.

I place the light in the ceiling and made sure the multiplier was appropriate and everything, but the problem is the light emits everywhere and it goes through surfaces.

Light does not go through brick.

Google up a vray tutorial. It shouldn't be too hard to find one. And there is an excellent one on the vray website (over 300 pages).

Put Vray in the bin and try 'Twighlight' Or render externally in Kerk.
