It looks better in person for sure, you can see the brass in the window treatment come out. I'm still waiting to see how they treat the mechanical section and blank lotline.

Definitely some retro vibe, but I think 60s/70s arches are coming back in. Its also pretty well priced for the area.

This is already hideous and the worst of the facade hasn't even been placed yet, just wait till those upside down arches go in.

What's the price per square foot? Fulton Street, in general, and this part, in particular, is pretty dingy. Hopefully, that small, filthy brick building will come down next.

I think you're all crazy. The inverted arches could look a bit weird and wonky. But, SO FAR, I think this facade is stunning.

Its quite nice IMO. This is leagues better than the smaller budget towers rising in the area within the last couple of years. Refreshing to get something aesthetically nice.

Hmmm, I like it but don't like it at the same time. Guess Ill have to wait for it to be completed to form my final opinion of it.

I think if the bronze in the windows were more pronounced around the edges, so that it could be made out from further away, this would be amazing.

it's like early 1960s Philip Johnson by way of Darth Vader... not digging it so far.

if it was lighter concrete or whatever, it would better...also, looked at the renderings again, and the mechanical or watertower top, will be exposed, they should have covered those two floors, like they did for 432 park, and added a third with hollowed arches as a crown, imo.

^ The only option to achieve some redemption would be to carry the grey at roof level throughout the penthouse.
