Too bad the owner does Trump fundraising. I wouldn't get a membership there.

Pointing out the obvious. This is Century City, not downtown.

I can't believe the Broadway Trade Center was supposed to be completed in 2018. Now they're looking for another buyer. Hopefully the Apple store construction has some kind of influence in getting the most important renovation in DTLA completed. This area could be LA's own sort-of Haussman Blvd.

You are totally wrong as far as the May Co bldg. They are working on that building daily. I’m not sure if you have been down here are not...if you have, you would clearly see all of the workers working on the building.

I would also like to know when you seen people working on it. I have seen people pulling out of it, but it seems they were only using it for parking.

I see them everyday. I’ll take a pic tomorrow. Unless we are talking about a different building. I’m referring to the building diagonal from the Apple Store.

That's the Merritt building. The one everyone is talking about is the one across from both the Merritt and tower theater, the huge one.. Broadway trade center aka may Co building

When I first saw the cladding, I really didn't like it. But now that it's coming together, it's growing on me. And growing on the skyline rather quickly!!

I like it because it isnt like a pure shiny glass block wall like those buildings in South Park. Though I wonder what it would look like if were a bunch of glass cubes in different colors.

Can someone please explain this to me? The rest of the scaffolding was removed from the Tower Theatre. I presume all the external cleaning is complete (at least on the highest parts of the building). Why did they not just clean the back part of the trim?

No. I can see it from my balcony clearly and have looked at it every day over the past year and from the street. They never cleaned that back part.
