Too true! It's high-time to kick things into a higher gear. River House looks especially lonely. I think it will be a while still, especially with the decreased demand for office space (and I'm guessing hotel space). Maybe an all-residential tower?
Speaking of housing, this might be a possible conversion... the article is paywalled, but you can get the gist from the title. AS WMU and Cooley move through their separation,
this ~ 109,000 SF, 5-story building in downtown is the largest bit of real estate to be put on the market in the past 6 months. An educational / institutional-to-office conversion is far more feasible than a change to a residential use, but I'm not sure how practical, given the current market demand.
