Filmed this just now at my bedroom window. Couple yelling at each other in the street outside (not even exaggerating, at least twice a week here).

So the stereotype of skeets (our lower class - think chavs) is that they call each other goofs as an insult. I've seen it online lots.

I've never heard it in person before

An aside: what a weird match. She was beautiful - ginger, heels. He was in Dad jeans and at least 15-20 years older.

Second:

Drag Race Canada is getting a pretty insane amount of international support. Granted it's more of a franchise for an established brand, but it will be aired simultaneously on networks in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and a couple of multi-national online options as well. Haven't noticed that before for a Canadian show. I know a few have gone international - Republic of Doyle, Frontline, etc, etc, etc. - but to have so many countries lined up before the first episode even airs seems unusual to me.
Life-Sized City is such a good show! Re Drag Race Canada, TV networks are desperate for new content due to the Covid halt in production. There was a report today that CBC has sold its new series Coroner to networks in the USA and the UK.

A much more street-wise person than I told me once that calling an ex-con a 'goof' is a serious insult (at least around here). Like hurling a racial slur at someone. You can expect a nasty fight as a given. Kind of weird, but OK...

This is literally front page news, growing controversy here today. Seagull's nest removed from roof of the main hospital.

Not to spoil Rousseau's European road trip vibe, but maybe detour from London to Woodstock if you have time (and a good brownie recipe). Huge Music Festival planned there with lots of Canuck talent.

The Band
David Clayton-Thomas (BS&T)
Neil Young (and 3 other guys)
Joni Mitchell
Lighthouse
Leonard Cohen (unconfirmed)

Does Signal know that Mary Walsh is going to be a guest judge on Drag Race Canada yet? He'll have a heart attack when he finds out.

Well, it is unconfirmed.

Maybe they're still waiting for a response from beyond the grave.

Then again, if he is coming back, I'd like very much to be informed. I may need to purchase ammo, for uh, unrelated reasons.

Or get my cricket bat ready.

But now that we've solved climate change, we can move on to pandemics and statue removal.

Ben Mulroney

I'm sure Molson will be happy. Now if only Ben Mulroney could be totally off the airwaves and fluff TV shows like Etalk didn't choke up the airwaves.
