Fencing is now up on east side both north and south of tracks. Equipment and piping on site as well. Looks like they are starting the utilities moves.

Slowly working on the utility moves. Tunnelling the temporary watermain on east side of Adelaide. Fencing now around the car wash as it has closed. Gas Bar was demolished a while ago. No sign of the house being demolished yet or any other utility relocates. That would need to happen to shift Adelaide road traffic over to east side.

Last I heard, traffic was going to be moved to the west side. Was that changed in a later plan?

Always thought the bypass traffic was on being rerouted east side. Hopefully the answer will be shown early next year.

I guess it was changed. Went back through the thread and looked at the public meeting slides. PIC 2 showed west side, PIC 3 a year later showed it switched to east side to better work with the favoured utility corridor.

Some legal moves ahead of the work involving transferring some land to CPR.

Car wash being demolished today. No signs that the house on the SE corner has been vacated yet so it can be demolished.

Car wash is now gone. This is were the sewer management systems will be located. The work on east side appears to be complete for the moment. Not sure what they buried there for the utility moves but they have stopped working.

The old autobody shop on SW corner was taken down today. CP rail crews have been clearing the land on north side of tracks this week for their installation of temporary track(s). Not clear yet if they will build a single or double temp bypass track(s). Still to come is the old building on SE corner at Central and Adelaide.

The house on the SE corner is now down. Clearing the rubble and filling the basement hole is left.

North bound Adelaide street has been down to one lane for over a week now as they are installing underground utility conduits south of Central Ave. Would expect work to start on the east side temporary roadway in the coming months. Should see the piling machines after that to sink the support pilings for the bypass rail line.

Frank and Gus Pizza building is now gone. The two homes immediately to the north are also fenced off and may also be going to be demolished soon.

one of the best pizza joints in London (Frank & Gus). Also, Cyprus Pizza in Lambeth.

way, way better than the cardboard crap sold at Dominos, PizzaPizza and Little Caesars

Based on mtg on April 21st the tender isn't being awarded now until the Fall 2021. This is a delay if I'm not mistaken.
