This building is just so sweet. Can't wait to see that crown completed and lit.

That last pic my two new favorite towers, those two terra-cotta beauties. Adding that classy look to New York Vandi and Steinway. 2007 through 2011 where the sad years on these NY threads, now with all these new super talls is the best years. I feel that one megatall will be popping up soon

Certainly don't seem to be in a hurry to complete framing the crown. Soooo close! Wonder what they've prioritized.

US Cranes told me they needed approval by the city to do the final jump of the crane. They got approved, they're just waiting to jump the crane. They were supposed to do it on Friday but the outer bands of Hurricane Dorian put the jump on hold. They'll probably jump it early this week and possibly top out steel in a week or two

Yeah I kinda figured. Looks pretty precarious up there. Especially as the building has setbacked away from the crane. Good to hear they have approval for the final jump. Let's get this puppy finished

Thank you for this explanation. I'd been wondering why the tower had been unchanged for over a month now.

It's kind of unbelievable it took that long for an approval for a crane
