This is for the block between Main St N, Thomas St and David St, Market St. This development hasn’t actually been approved by the city yet but the developers have applied for an MZO.

I neither love nor hate these towers.. the look a little like what you'd expect to see in Erin Mills in Mississauga. uninspired design.. kinda bland... oh well.

Brampton now has 4 tall new towers dotting the downtown skyline nearing completion. Any chance anyone can get some pics that would be great. I can never seem to figure out how to post pics here off my phone.

The balconies on the rental tower on Queen st. are truly disappointing. The materials used throughout appear very cheap which is especially disappointing considering its at least 31 stories tall.

Symphony tower on Queen at least looks a lot more promising and the material selection looks decent.

Railroad towers also coming along...look just ok so far.

Nevertheless, great to see some developement happening downtown. The core desperately needs it... as it currently is a tragic spot where businesses come to die.

As of right now I’m counting a total of 20 high rise building proposals from downtown all the way to Bramalea City Centre. I wonder how many of these developments will actually get approval from the city.

how do we go about getting Brampton in the city diagrams with the other Canadian cities? there are several much smaller cities listed there, but not Brampton.

If you click the diagram tab and search Brampton it will show you a diagram but there are only 4 buildings shown. The list with all the Canadian cities only shows cities with 10+ buildings, so someone has to make more drawings for Brampton’s buildings. Also if you click on the database tab and search Brampton there, you’ll see there are 2 more drawings for the buildings at 199 main street but because those are just proposed buildings, they aren’t shown on Bramptons diagram. Only built and under construction buildings are shown on diagrams.

This development has changed to 2 mixed use buildings that’ll be 34 and 42 storeys.

27 storey mixed use building proposed west of Queen St E and McVean Dr. Renderings are available on the architects website: https://www.iconarchitects.ca/projec...en-and-mcvean/ The architects website says 27 storeys but the application submitted to the city says 34 storeys so i’m not sure what the actual height is. https://planning.brampton.ca/Citizen...howInspection=

I find it so incredibly annoying when I see a proposal like this one out in the boonies.. why on earth.. how does this tower relate at all with its surroundings?....why not build this closer to downtown or Bramalea?..... this tower makes no sense at all in the proposed location.
