i suppose that all depends on how one defines the word "anything". milwaukee is certainly not toronto or new york, but for a medium-sized midwest city, it's done alright with highrise construction over the past decade:
1. University Club Tower --- 446'/35 floors - 2007
2. Kilbourn Tower ---------- 385'/33 floors - 2005
3. The Moderne ------------ 348'/30 floors - 2012
4. The Breakwater ---------- 260'/21 floors - 2009
5. St. John's on the Lake ---- 250'/21 floors - 2012
6. Cathedral Place ---------- 243'/18 floors - 2004
7. Park Lafayette north ----- 221'/20 floors - 2009
8. Park Lafayette south ----- 221'/20 floors - 2009
along with a half dozen or so lesser high-rises.
the bolded high-rises above are currently among milwaukee's 10 tallest buildings.
