They sure are making up for any time lost on the foundation work.

From the webcam, they are starting the next two levels (11 & 12) of steel this morning. But here is a picture from Saturday:

Super cute - workers have created a SFTower "growth chart" on their office window. Also visible: the most recent two-story core addition over at 181. I wonder which will reach the 800-foot mark first. SF is moving at a faster clip, and 181 will likely stall vertically for a couple of weeks while structural elements between the office and residential portions of the building are placed. But after that, the residential top floors of 181 are less structurally complicated than the office floors below and could rise more quickly. Should be fun to watch, both from this vantage point and all throughout the City.

The top of the core is much closer to 300' - perhaps he said 290? Here is a view from about 260' up in Millennium - baby is getting too big to fit in the frame:

Wow I can't believe how fast this is flying up now! Awesome to watch and I can't wait to see the skyline once this starts to peak up above the other buildings.

"Salesforce Tower's Unique Shape Evident in New Photos"

Quote:
The Transamerica Pyramid's peaked roof has been a defining element of the San Francisco skyline since the tower's completion in 1972. At 260 metres — or 853 feet — it's also the tallest building in the city. But it won't be for much longer. The 326-metre (1,070-foot) Salesforce Tower by Boston Properties and Hines is well under construction, and its steel-framed floors are starting to make a bold impact.

I love this photo so much I had to borrow it for a counterpoint to that inane thread about everybody wanting to leave SF. Hope you don't mind.

Perhaps they will raise the renderings up as high as the top of the buildings on adjacent blocks--641' on the east side (Millennium) and 600' on the north side (50 Fremont).
