NYC: sorry I didn't find a title for this set!

I'm a US big fan, since 94 when I first came to the country, I've visited several cities: DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, SF, LA and Las Vegas but NYC is for me the greatest, and if I stay one year without going there I'm really disappointed. As you could expect, I've got a lot of photos but I tried here to select those I prefer because I like the way I framed the picture, the view, colors or simply because I found it rather original ( it's only my opinion!), and of course keeping in mind that it's not the first thread on NYC, hope you will like them too.

Glad to hear you enjoy my city so much. It must be nice to visit now that the dollar is so cheap compared to the Euro. I hope that you found the city and people who inhabit it hospitable.

This buidling has a really nice architecture and, by the way, I've seen last April that it was being renovated as there were many scaffolding, hope to see that if I could go there next spring. Maybe someone could post some pics if the work is complete.
But my favorite is always the Chrysler, I like the new Bofa too probably because I've seen it rising from the beginning.
So I like this shot because of the colors: the yellow cabs in the foreground, this beautiful red building in the back and the purple NYU shuttle. I think it shows NYC in a different way which change from the usual high skyscrapers shots. (I hope I make me understand because I had to face my lack of vocabulary!!)

Hi guys! I need your help I've posted the following pics on a french forum, but someone asked me the name of this building and what it is.
Unfortunately, I don't remember , I saw it last April when I go uptown from the World Financial Center, along the Joe DiMaggio Highway, along the Hudson river park, it's near the 23rd street...

First I posted that one:

and I've got a comment asking if it was a rendering of a future project!!
Then I posted:

but what is this building, is the remaining question..

New Yorkers, this is for you! Thanks

That's the IAC (InterActiveCorp.) building, designed by Frank Gehry. http://www.iac.com/print/index/news/...il.htm?id=4194

Here's a good article from Metropolis: http://www.metropolismag.com/cda/story.php?artid=2835

Nice pics!

This sign doesn't make any sense. People can think about parking there all day if they want, as long as they don't actually do it, I would think it would be ok:

I love the Puck building, too- in fact, I spend three hours a week there discussing sociology because I just love it that much.
