What's going on at the top of the AT&T Building? Looks like the signage is being removed.

It's being replaced with "Tower Square" signage that looks terrible.

I can’t wait for this beautiful tall Glassy tower to get started on. A really nice edition to the area. Mabe it will have the same set up as the Omani tower in Downtown Dallas with all those Gorgeous lights and moving screens. Haha. But I doubt it.

It's the 1180 Peachtree building, aka Symphony Tower, aka King & Spaulding building, aka the Batman Building

In the morning on a clear day while driving down 85 specifically where 400 merges, there is a pretty striking illusion that is created on 1180's facade that makes it look very similar to the way the old WTC Towers looked in the same weather conditions. It's eerily amazing and haunting at the same time.

I remember when that building was first proposed, everyone here was so excited. Also I donated money (couple hundred bucks) for the Calatrava designed new Symphony Center that was supposed to go right next door but never came to be. Whatever happened to the money that was donated for it?

Batman building? I’ve never heard it called that. Nashville has a true Batman building and I’ll bet somebody copied them. 1180 doesn’t even resemble Batman.

The building as rendered is definitely 29 floors (I can count)-- I'm not sure if anything has been changed-- It would be quite difficult to add 4 floors at this point, as the building is well under construction--

I've never heard 1180 described that way-- BTW its light years better than that somewhat unfortunate building in Nashville--

It sort of does if you're looking at it dead-on from the east or west.

It has lots of funny names like the napkin holder or the toenail clipper.

Love it or hate it the Nashville Bldg is iconic. 1180 Peachtree is iconic as well but I’ve always thought it looks like a napkin holder.
