That yellow vapor barrier installation is interesting. Some of those panels went up months ago, yet they haven't finished them on a single floor yet. I wonder what the story behind that is?

Looking back at the renderings it appears where they haven't installed the yellow product, there will eventually be storefront window walls made entirely of glass/steel and not solid wall surface. The Yellow product is only on the portions of each floor where they are constructing traditional steel frame stud walls with insulation and inset windows. The sequencing of the work likely relates to having each of those scopes performed by different subcontractors and when the storefront window sub begins you'll see that go up quickly.

But obviously on an active job it could be anything. That's just my guess.

Edit - they do seem fairly far behind in installing the yellow product. They have the exterior stud walls 8 floors ahead of the exterior wallboard. That could be a supply issue. In other words multiple factors likely in play for what you're seeing.

The yellow board is Denseglass. It is installed by the metal stud framers. You are correct it is in short supply. Glass storefront is a different contractor and they do not install until toward the end after the drywall contractor is nearing completion; if indeed, it is storefront.

IIRC, the Hadley was not planned to have ground level retail.

Yes, it was all off topic but it was respectful. I don't think it would have been that big of a deal to leave it up. Oh well. Back to just complaining about designs.

Looking down Ponce from the BeltLine, “appears” as if you’d dead end into this project. Nice impact on the skyline.

This one has topped out. They're dismantling one of the cranes this weekend.

The other crane is coming down this week. I noticed the stone facade is starting to get installed as well.

TOO Bad that at least 10 more floors were not added, not noticeable until you are in the general area.

^Would be nice if this was a bit more prominent, but it's also kind of amazing that the Midtown skyline has grown so much that a 26 story building makes such a little impact.

I'm more disappointed by the fact that retail or commercial weren't included in this development.....

The height for this one is fine. We have 903 Peachtree and Society Atlanta just a couple blocks north.

To add, both 903 & the Hadley are prominent when viewing from the EST.

When coming down Ponce it looks like the Hadley bookends the street. It’s quite noticeable, despite being on the shorter side for a tower.

Here's what the stone facade at the Hadley looks like so far.
