Just snagged two tickets at the DOME in Calgary for Friday's game and then was already heading back to Edmonton to be in Rogers for Sunday's game.

Unsure if my liver will make it.

Must try to focus on work this week.

Maybe sneak some MMA training in there too just to be ready for whatever might break out at the Saddledome

Enjoy!!!

^I've only been to two games in the Dome, but found folks reasonably welcoming.

I will be sure to bring bear spray

Sam is coming up in the world.

Rumours are he will move to Fenerbahce (a big Champions League club), Istanbul, or another European team at the end of the season.

The battle of Alberta should be fun to watch, though the Oilers had to lean on McDavid heavily just to get through in 7 against one of the weakest teams in the play-offs, so I am predicting a fairly easy series win for Calgary. Edmonton just doesn't have the depth that Calgary has. Flames in 5.

Ratings should be through the roof for the Battle of Alberta. What has it been? Over 30 years since the last time both teams faced each other.

As for the American ratings for this series? Who cares? JHikka doesn't have to watch.

31 years. Between ‘83 and ‘91, they met each other 5 times in the playoffs. The Oilers won 4 of those series. It’s time Calgary starts levelling up those stats, and they will.

The Flames in 5.

Hugely depends on:

-Drai being healthy and stepping up
-The Oilers inferior D somehow containing a large, aggressive and fast Calgary forward lineup
-Smith, Smith, Smith

Oilers in 6.

Convincing win by Tampa.

I think we are going to love this Col/StL series.

BoA money line is -160 for Cal...

That second point is a big one. Got to love your optimism though, misguided as it may be.

I'm a fan of how Calgary plays and Edmonton is certainly in tough... especially at the Dome for games 1 and 2... but if there was EVER a time to step up, this is it.

Let's go boys!

Going to be a good series no mater what. Washington Post even ran a story today about this being one of the great sports rivalries.

Have a place at the bar already in my favorite pub. Even Have a Jersey this time. (250 for a named Jersey 150 for no name-I got the cheaper).

My wife and I remember well the 80s games. there is a defined excitement in the air here. maybe its because of the last few years but both cities need this.

Well that was bizarre.
What a 180 from the 7 games with Dallas.

A classic BoA.

Smith not sharp, Oilers D doing what they do and then we wake up and the Flames have it in the bag?

91?
93?
13?
15?

We are lucky to have Jesus.

For the first 30 mins it felt like McDavid alone against the entire Flames roster.
