It's northern Idaho - It's a city unto itself and definitely not apart of Boise which is a ways away. It is actually quite close to Spokane Washington.

The first page of this thread should give you a big clue. CD'A is actually the states second largest metro area and is very Northwest in location, appearance and attitude, the city is unlike any other repped in the Mountain West forum because of its deep woods northern locale and topography.

I believe the reason this development thread is in the Mountain West and not the Pacific West forum is because there is not a lot of representation for the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area and most Idaho forumers of course post here in the Mountain West.

Coeur d'Alene is around 370 miles North of Boise.

I was checking out websites of a few of the completed projects. The Parkside Tower has a great view of the Coeur d'Alene skyline in their flashplay on the main page of the site:

Thanks for the links Sawtooth. I'm still here, just been slacking the past few months. I'm serving on three boards/commissions and am playing in three sports leagues, among other things. I'll try to post some updates more often.

The Parkside Tower is definitely looking good now that it's complete and has most of its retail slots occupied. One thing that I noticed on their website though that I thought was a waste of space was the outdoor raised plaza area filled with a putting green. I personally think CDA has enough golfing opportunities both public and private. They should have taken the great space they created with its wonderful view and used it for something like outdoor dining. Just a thought.

Thanks. I've been reading these forums for a couple years now but I finally decided just recently to get off the sidelines and join in.

I've lived all over the northwest (Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Alaska) but CDA is the only place that's ever truly felt like home.

Great find, Coeur d'alene has an impressive skyline with the blue lake and mountain backdrop. I want to get up there sometime to check the city and lake out.
