That will be another gamechanger for that area.
I can't wait for east side access to come online. I live in southeast Queens so my commute is terrible. It will be a 3-minute walk to the LIRR station near my house instead of taking the bus 20 minutes to the E or F Train.

Man there's so many unofficial renderings of this thing at this point, whatever studio is actually working on the real ones must really feel the pressure.

I've noticed the lack of roof signs on NYC skyscrapers. I think 100 Park was the first to wear one, or at least one of the first. There's Metlife, One Penn, and a few on 6th Avenue, but that's pretty much it. Contrast that with LA, where just about every skyscraper is wearing a roof sign.

It's one of the reasons why I'm so glad to see the classic heart of the city come back to life with new and modern office towers. The transit options help keep this area as it should be, one of the premier office districts anywhere.

There are quite a few. There are just so many skyscrapers in town that they wouldn't really stand out.

This is always one of my favorites...

Metro-North uses and has used a variety of railcars, including models like the ones in the graphic.

Not to nerd TOO far out but he is right, specifically those ARE Silverliner IV's used by Septa in the graphic, not M class M-N cars.

Well, you have nerded too far out. I'm telling you the graphic is accurate, and the [i]precise[i] model of the train doesn't matter if the MTA uses similar trains.

Dude, you're totally missing the point. All the original poster was saying was the drop-in train graphic is a model used by Septa not M-N, and that is in fact the case. No one is claiming there is some serious consequential infraction here on the part of the engineers lol.

Or they're just placeholders to show that the rail lines are under the building. Now back to 270 Park

I said it once I’ll say it again, greatest time for us New York City skyscraper fanatics, it’s just one after the other, I love that is not the same clear/blue glass that fades into the skyline, this golden beauty will stick out, just patiently waiting for a megatall

^This future view of midtown looks great! Few people could have predicted that 432 Park Avenue's reign in this neighborhood would be so short-lived, despite being tall enough to dwarf the ESB. It's already #4 in midtown. After both Chase and Tower Fifth are finished, it will be #6.

Serious San Francisco Embarcadero vibes. A great thing to say the least.

I believe that Grand Hyatt tower will be much higher than One Vanderbilt tower. And maybe it will have a spire.
