I am in the mood to post some pictures. Haven't done so in a long time. I do have some fresh pictures from a Nashville trip earlier this summer that are just about ready to go, but I haven't uploaded yet. So here's a repost of some photos from past years.

By coincidence, two very good friends of mine own the red one. There are only a few blocks of Baltimore-style rows in DC. It's very nice inside.

Tim, the last photo was taken at a protest the day of Bush's second term inauguration parade.

Thundertubs, that is quite the coincidence. And you're right - very few of that style rowhouse in DC.

i miss my old city! i love the cherry blossom pics the most. if you ever get any of the new national's stadium and adjacent area, please post them. i hope the revitalization of that area really picks up even with the bad economy. they have been talking about fixing up that area for 10 years!

I do have some photos of the stadium, but never posted them. They're a good 9 months old. If I can find them, I'll dig them out.

To answer Kingofthehill's month-old questions:
That is THE African American Civil War Memorial.
Here are more pictures of Shaw / U Street, and here are more pictures of Adams Morgan. Murals are just a thing in Adams Morgan. There are a ton of them (those are the two most famous).
