As shown a few posts above from a different angle. My apologies for not knowing how to scale it down in the forum view without actually modifying the jpg.
Here it is. Modern day forums automatically resize photos. But this antique forum obviously doesn't. I always resize the photo in a new browser window then copy and paste it into Paint to create a new image file.

Thanks The ATX. I thought there was some BB code I needed to add but apparently not. I've resized the original image so it doesn't blow up the forum view but thank you for doing it as well.
Quick tip: When right-clicking on an image (in most web browsers) an options menu will pop up. Select "View Image" (or whatever similar option is shown) and the web browser should scale the image to fit the browser window.
Too much time on my hands and a zoomed-out version of the crane image above means.. here's a crappy rendering from the same angle at Cesar Chavez & Guad if the Crane is 370'. Didn't make a big effort to find a south-facicng mockup so ignore the fact it may be facing the wrong way.
Until the structure climbs to where the crane operator can at least use the construction elevator to get him / her closer to the cab, that's a grueling looking daily climb and descent, especially toting the essentials needed to get through the long shifts. It must be pretty epic taking a bathroom break way up there.
The preserved house on the corner is visually distracting. I wish the house had been moved so this tower could occupy the whole block.
I don't know how viable that would have been. Besides even if it was possible all of those trees would have to be moved as well. All in all, I like that the site has the notch. It's a big footprint regardless. Nice to see the difference between the past and the future.
