Spelling mistakes we can live with - a bat signal ode to a mediocre hotel chain on the side of a downtown building, however...

Looking north from Citadel Hill. The camera kind of distorts the distance here; the towers in behind are a couple km away. The cranes are for Richmond Yards, 30 storeys, so it will be significantly taller than these existing buildings.

For me, this is why I consider Montreal Canada's most beautiful city. It's this contrast of a massive classical neighbourhood church and wacky mid century modernist design that creates a sense of scale and place. These landmarks are surrounded by endless early 20th century rowhouses and apartments. It's just sublime.
