I agree, WS, the long narrow ones look super unique, and they remind me a bit of the form of a unit me and a boyfriend from like 10 years age were looking at in the tower portion of 1 King West. It was amazing, plus the bath tub was right against the window. Basically my dream place. Hopefully these ones have similar features.

Edit: Oh, neat. New page, new photos!

Mine from last week...

Telus Sky is simply stunning! I can't stop looking at it. Just a really cool tower. Because of its slim profile, it looks taller than it is. One of a kind thats for sure

Why isn't BA rail? I mean it's boring but boring things can be real can't they?

CIBC Square is looking great, I am really digging that glass. I assume by "real" office towers you mean tall towers? Bay Adelaide WEST (715ft) and EAST (643ft) were both pretty large towers though so they deserve a mention

Nah, it’s not real. Anything under 300 meters is not real. It’s just filler. It’s a well known fact.

First real office tower to be built in Toronto in almost 30 years..

It’s pretty obvious this post was the result of some over excitement, but I wondered how many office towers have actually been built in those decades. Thirty years takes us back to 1989. In descending order of height:
TD Canada Trust 1990
Bay Adelaide West 2009
Bay-Wellington Tower 1992
Bay Adelaide East 2016
Ernst and Young 2017
RBC Centre 2009
One York St 2016
The 250 1991
Simcoe Place 1995
TD Centre East 1991
RBC Waterpark Place 2014
And 16 York is farther along ..
I’ll stop there.

Well, to no surprise, 60 Bay street has been approved per today's council meeting;

And so has the CC3 project. http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/viewAgen...em=2019.TE7.16

City Council agenda per today,

Who in Toronto notices anything under 200m these days? If it's under 200m it better be a knock out or it's just not going to garner much attention.

Comments lie Isaidso's really baffle me. I'm unsure why people like to focus so much on height statistics and such, but a 200 metre tall structure is usually QUITE noticeable in Toronto....
