^ The design is pretty meh, but I would be happy to see this go up just for the height. I'm sick of the NIMBY mantra about keeping the West Loop low rise and keeping tall buildings east of Halsted. If you move within a mile of one of the tallest buildings in the western hemisphere, then you shouldn't be averse to height!

Buildings like this and 1035 W Van Buren, 855 W Adams, 1061 W Van Buren, etc etc. are starting to change the status quo in this neighborhood.

Frankly, its about time!

This seems like it would be a much more cohesive design if they simply replaced the blue sections with the black paneling on the 4th floor.
