advertecture n. Advertisements painted on the walls of buildings

There has been a lot of talk over the past year or so of New York advertecture, and its limits, or lack of. Either way you look at it, it transforms the urbanscape of the city.

This was an "outrage" from a year or two ago, the Flatiron covered in head to toe advertisement. It was forced down by the city.
