I love it. Great looking buildings that will only add positively to Niagara Falls.

Why are there above ground parking spaces for a project like this? Is this the norm in Niagara Falls because it's a tourist destination?

Pretty much. A lot of the people that go to Niagra Falls drive in from the cities that surround it (Hamilton, Toronto, etc). The whole city is quite automobile dependent.

Even so, that surface parking lot is horrible.

Wow! Pretty nice proposal. There's a lot of Canadian cities that would love to have this developement going up in their cities!

Yuck. Nevermind the parking lot (strange), but the designs are hideous. The curved tower isn't so bad, but the other two look tacky.

Niagara Falls, ON has always been a bit cheesy, in a good way! These towers fit quite nicely into the general tone of the area.

I can't think of a single one.

This is one of the ugliest proposals I've seen in a long time.

I really like the colours, and the majority of the design. With a few tweaks I would love to see it constructed in Toronto.

WTF!!! GRR What an awful building! Is this Dubai, or something? This will ruin Niagara Falls.

Bronze/green glass, concrete, and a dome on top, poor Niagara Falls...Hope this is never built

What with the haunted houses and wax museums just up the street, this kind of strange design is no surprise to me. I visited that side of the river/falls in 1988 and walking through that area was one of the more surreal experiences I have ever had... "La Villa Strangiato"

Ugliest proposal I've seen for Canada. If NF builds them, it will lose whatever soul it had before.

I live about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and I go all the time. For people that haven't been there, or haven't been there that many times, this may seem like a weird proposal. The reality is that this fits in with Niagara Falls better then some of the exsisting buildings in Niagara Falls. Lets all remember that Niagara Falls is a major tourist destination, basically the Las Vegas of Canada, and the hotels need to stand out from one another for people to want to stay there. For what they are, I actually think that these buildings look pretty good, I love the Dubai look that they have.

p.s. I am pretty sure that these have been approved so everyone better get used to them, lol

There would also be two smaller structures either of which could be hotel or condo residences by the falls. There will be preservation work to ensure the longivity of the historic structures.

Take a look at the rendering for this project:
