I just don't like the Reflections and they did those too. Hopefully it will follow somewhat in the style of the Pheonix. Which is another that I am not thrilled about.

1010 Park has a modified design now too. Instead of 4 towers it is down to 2. They merged both of the east towers together and did the same with the west towers. I think it looks better. But the house on the property is even more smothered now. The tallest tower also looks to be in excess of 30 stories. Hopefully toggie will post the rendering over here too. For all of you TC guys that still can't log on to tcscape.

Bah! I do not like those either. But I did like that one that was in the 30 story range and was staggered. That design they could use for Milliken. That second riendering-pic there is General Milss HQ isn't it? I will tell you it is not that fabulous of a structure even though it won awards. It is laid out and feels more like a shopping mall than a corporate HQ.

if you look at the 2 1010 park designs, they are the same, just a different angle. Looking from the ground you can't tell the towers touch like you can from above. Look closely, nothing is different.

PS. wasn't the tower facing portland supposed to be 34 stories for quite some time now?

No they are different Mike. The differences are very subtle, but are there. There are more balconies and the stacks of the "chineys" are very slightly different.
Yes You are right. It was 34-stories. I goofed there.
As for the design. I want a color rendering. The B/W just do not give me enough info to judge it very well. I do like the overall design. I think it will cotrast with the bland Skyscape and overly done Grant Park very well. I think all of these together might help compliment one another.

Either way, I think the buildings were always touching., the new rendering just makes it more obvious. At least thats what I think upon closely examining them.

I agree they always looked as if they were touching too. But I am just going off the info I heard before which siad they were 4 towers. Either way it will be a better project with only 2 towers.

I think it will. But not as a condo tower. More likely apartments. Which are becoming rarer in dt every month.
