Was able to take a few semi-decent photos from a plane ride last week.

Folsom & Rausch - 10/13/2016

I walked by today. I can see the crane from my apartment in the Civic Center.

Salesforce & 181 Fremont 10/17/16 noon Monday

It appeared that work was stopped over the weekend due to the rain & high wind. This is a view from the Civic Center.

Splendid pictures guys, thanks so much! I remember when we had a doubt whether these were going to get built or not, and now look at them. I'll try and get down there and see these giants in person, take a few pictures, and contribute a bit

"An 806-foot-tall tower at 546 Howard St will join the likes of 181 Fremont St and Salesforce Tower rising around the Transbay Terminal redevelopment project. Designs of the 64-floor high-rise are being refined by Pelli Clarke Pelli for the almost 1M SF project to include a more rounded structure, reports SocketSite."

Salesforce & 181 Fremont 10/20/16 this morning

View of big boy & little boy. New beams added this morning to 181 Fremont, so now the "crown" is being formed! (This view is from my apartment.) I must say I am surprisingly excited!

fflint - you have a nice view of both 350 Bush & Salesforce. 350 Bush is at it highest or very close to it. I've been watching it rise from my apartment in the Civic Center. Look forward to seeing a picture of both when clad.

misc shots from last Saturday

in Dogpatch, the two projects on Indiana - the northern one...

and the southern one

around the corner on 22nd St, on the Potrero Hill side of the tracks, this one seems about ready to lose its cloak

at Potrero1010, CA College of the Arts has moved in to the PDR spaces on Hubbell. this is looking east toward Seventh

Daggett Park seems done, but is still fenced off

at 100 Hooper, the current work seems to be limited to some trenching underneath the sidewalk on the southern edge of the site, for laying some sort of conduit

a look at the west side of 1 Henry Adams, showing the raised and regular sidewalks...

... and how that relates to the raised walkway across the street

the mid-block alley adjacent to the new hotel on King St. hoping this becomes a more active space once the hotel opens. looking south toward the ballpark

in case you missed it, the (historic) McDonald's at Third and Townsend is no more, about to make way for a new hotel

and back to Dogpatch, skyline from Esprit Park

Trinity Place I, II, III

Here is a view from Mission Street of the Trinity Place plaza. Apparently the metal frame is for an elevator. I'm not fond of the Venus sculpture. I can't imagine living in an apartment with a view of it!

The construction crane has been removed from the Phase III building. Can the final Phase IV building be in the works soon? Also I notice soil has been delivered to the roof of the Phase III building which was a surprise to me.

^ there hasn't been any significant break in construction between phases, and the trinity website says that phase 4 construction will begin "shortly [there]after" delivery of phase 3 in early 2017. so, it's a good bet that construction should begin in 2017.

it's not totally clear here whether there will be excavation for another parking garage or whether the immense garage under phase 3 will also serve phase 4. the phasing map suggests that phase 4 won't have another garage under it, and that's the best bet given the savings.

which is to say that phase 4 should go up a lot more quickly than did phase 3.
