It's not really that impressive a height list. Suburbs like Mississauga, Vaughan, Burnaby, etc. have similar lists. It's just starting in Montreal. The next 10 to 15 years will quadruple that output providing things don't finally crash.

Given our urban zoning restrictions on height and suburban land use policies (i.e. towers in the burbs are a relatively new thing in Greater Montreal as opposed to Metro Van or GTA, and I think to date there are like... 1 or 2 25-30 storey towers in Laval and Longueuil) I think this is a reasonably impressive list.
I mean, I'm less familiar with Vancouver (though I understand that the municipality has similar zoning restrictions), but it seems as though Burnaby's list would outpace it as well.
Agreed that the output will continue so long as the global economy keeps rolling.
