They also jumped the crane last weekend. And yes, this should start moving faster now that we're past the parking levels.

We should also see a setback on Eastern side based on the renderings.

That's an amazing photo on many levels. 1) Density, I counted at least 24 buildings. 2) All but three were built in the last 11 years. 3) I still have no idea what the finished northside of Molar will look like, but the shape of the office portion is unique in a good way. 4) Hanover is going to have a big impact in this sector. 5) There is at least some variation in color, from the green glass of 3rd and Shoal, the reddish brown of Zaza, the awesome reflective and textured black glass paneling of Parsley. 6) If this photo represented the vast entirety of downtown, it would still be an impressive image of the skyline of Austin.

I will say, though, every time I see the "little Indeed Tower" I wanna pull it up like a weed from my garden and plant something beautiful in its place. Or jack it up and haul it to the Domain to reunite it with its brothers and sisters. It's just the strangest building in that photo even with it standing next to the fish tank//pedestital tv/molar.

I think one of my favorite buildings right now in this area is still the Hotel ZaZa. It's just so unique to Austin. We don't do retro very often.

Yeah, that's certainly not the best side of the Independent. However, I think the quirkiness of it works for me, despite the wire fence on top. And agreed on Zaza. I like it more and more every time I see it.

Baby Indeed is a total throwback to the old days of the ‘300 plateau. Kinda like looking at a yearbook picture of yourself in middle school. Who’s that goofy kid?

Would be cool to have the blue wall a video screen like in Blade Runner.

Hey how about this for something crazy. In the year 2000, only ONE building in this photo existed (Chase Bank Tower in the foreground). A few years later, the second (wee Plaza Lofts over there) would be completed...and well you know the rest! Me = MINDF*CKED

I just keep forgetting this one exists. Looks like the core is nearly 200' now.
