Lam Tara towers are hideous. But the Emirates Park Towers are looking pretty good.

Woah! The Park Towers rose fast!

What does "The Skyscraper" look like again?

Al Yaqoub is a disaster. Shame that it's stuck between two great looking towers.

^^ I think they could look good, depending on the quality of construction.
Blatant ripoff of the old russia tower design but that's never getting built anyway so who cares.

A picture looking left (The Index, Al Yacoub, HHHR Tower, Al Attar Tower)

Looking right (Emirates Park towers and hopefully Bin Manana Towers in the future)

The location where these pictures were taken was going to be the location of that massive three-pronged tower which was cancelled (officially put on hold indefinitely) when the shit hit the fan.

From Imre. You can clearly see Al Yacoub tower here.

Al Attar tower is almost on hold again (just a tiny bit of work) and it seems it's the same for the Bin Manana Towers

HHHR Tower almost done.
Also the emirates park towers might have reached 300m, or if they haven't they're very close.

I don't like how the facade is going up on the Park Towers.

Some news about the Hard Rock Hotel. Tasameem are the guys building it and the Hard Rock Hotel is just the operator. At least it isn't dead and they do intend to build

The total planned built-up area is 44,000 square metres.

Tasameem has not said if or when it plans to issue tender documents for the contract to build the tower, on which UK-based Atkins is the consultant.

Tasameem is also developing projects in Abu Dhabi. In April 2008, it awarded South Korea’s STX Group a $180m contract to build a residential development in the Mussafah district of the city.
