Seattle - First Hill Perspective

In the ultimate act of photo thread laziness, I am sharing Seattle on this sunny Saturday AM from the roof of my building. What a beautiful day!

Looking South toward Mt Rainier

SW toward downtown

NW toward the Olympics

N-NW toward South Lake Union

North over Capitol Hill neighborhood (Mt Baker in the distance)

NE - Capitol Hill con't

Bellevue skyline in the distance across Lake Washington (Cascade Range in backgound)

Aaaand back where we started, with some new First Hill development.

A large lonely footing waiting for a concrete teamster strike to come to a conclusion:

That's it! Now to get down to street level for a stroll.

Very nice, even views from a single vantage point can make for an interesting thread, as shown here. I used to visit Seattle frequently and this brings back those days.

What a great city. Fun fact - I have heard anecdotally that Seattle has the best dive bar scene in the entire word. Prove me wrong.

Great pics. Would love to see ground level pics too if you took any!

Today was pretty spectacular, 50 and sunny. The Elliott Bay waterfront, the Market, the retail district, and Belltown felt almost like 2019 (April perhaps).

Looks great! Definitely a city that punches above its weight in terms of combination of urbanism, skyline, and natural surroundings.
