CHICAGO - Walk with me!

Was in Chicago last month. I wasn't there to take photos, but I shot plenty anyway as I walked from place to place. I hadn't been in town for a while and I must say Chicago is still amazing and just keeps getting better and better. Anyway here is Chicago as I found it. There are a few photos that aren't rotated - I left them as is due to the loss of detail when rotated.

This is the third thread that I've included an Van Gogh self portrait. New York, Wash D.C., and now Chicago.

That is all. Thanks for viewing!

Fantastic job....thank you.

I don't know why but I think this thread is perhaps the purest example of how the last boom in chicago (roughly 1999-2008) or so has really impacted the street level sense of overwhelming urbanity.

Chicago is really developing a sense of super thick urbanity ....a sense that I think does not really exist much outside of Manhattan..........over the part 1o years.

Once again very, very nice

Terrific! Brings back memories of my days working in the Tribune Tower back in the 70's. Chicago is still the second city as far as I am concerned.
