The Portman towers at the former Spring Hill funeral home will fill in nicely there!

Don't forget the Toll Brothers big project!

However, I haven't heard much about that project lately though.

to Chris getting a drone. He’s already been capturing some incredible angles of the city.

That north facade of the Mark though not my cup of tea.

Atlanta is starting to become "Toronto"-like. Everything up there stretches along a spine, Yonge St (which also has rail under it). Sound familiar? Peachtree & MARTA are creating the same environment.

Atl is definitely starting to become more of a vibe. I am loving this evolution into a more mature, world class city. All the city really needs now is more smaller scale"Missing Middle" development along corridors, such as Ponce and North Avenue to stitch together the urban fabric....and more robust transit options. It's getting there.....

I just wish we had Toronto's development pace...

They had approximately 49 towers built between 2010 and 2019 that rose above 44 stories and they have another 31 under construction that will rise above 47 stories. It's crazy! The city has approximately the same metro population as Atlanta and they have 60-70-80 story condo towers going up!

I know there are those that will say Toronto has a different demographic, but we have a large number of World, U.S. and regional headquarters here.

NOTE: Toronto does have a regional population of around 9.2 million

I fell in love with Toronto after visiting a few years ago, and so I now occasionally check their city compilation page. The number of tall, high-quality projects there is truly baffling.

Atlanta will get there but we just don't have the density yet to demand projects like that - It's why opus never happened - there's no demand for that price yet by consumers and the project was too ambitious
