Warsaw, VA

Warsaw is a town on the Northern Neck of Virginia, and is the seat of Richmond County. The population is around 1,500.

Warsaw was originally named Richmond Court House, being the seat of Richmond County. Richmond County was/is different than the City of Richmond, which was originally in Henrico County and is now an independent city. Due to the confusion between Richmond and Richmond Court House, the community changed its name in 1845. Warsaw was chosen as the name to show sympathy to the Polish cause for independence from Russia.

When I saw population was about a few hundred or thousand, I didn't expect much of a skyline showing up drop-down

Not renovated per se, but moved. The old building used to be at the main intersection in town, but it was being moved into a park.
