Mark Little wins Great Canadian Laugh Off

Many of you may or may not be familiar with the comedy troupe Picnicface that has been based in Halifax since 2007. They've recieved a lot of attention in the past for both thier skit shows and videos, the most influential being "PowerThirst".

Mark Little, one of the troupe's members, has recently won The Great Canadian Laugh Off for 2009 and its $25,000 prize:

Judges included individuals who work on Just For Laughs, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brian and the Late Show with Colin Furgeson.

Congrats to Mark (though he probably won't read this). And kudos for showing Halifax more than carries it's wieght in Comedy compared to the rest of Canada (ie This Hour has 22 Minutes, The Trailer Park Boys).
