Stamps depth chart out and Rogers is out and forecast -11 with wind-chill will feel like -16 in the afternoon and snowfall all of today. That ball will lose a lot of spiral and will be like a rock very conducive to running the football.

I would mostly agree. They also had some minor struggles after the Feterik years in Burris' early seasons/Tom Higgins era when they were average to good.

It's true - we have been spoiled for a while here in Calgary.
The 70's & 80's were bleak however.

I am jumping, I am jumping for joy great win Bombers bring on the Riders! having to fight cancer this year this Bomber team has really made me smile today and really been inspiring especially Collaros and Strevler on a broken foot. Can't wait for the West final this is going to be like Ali-Frazier with the 2 most passionate fan bases in the CFL ratings will be huge for TSN!

This two QB system just might work because their styles are so different and unique and can be utilized to throw teams off if they think we are running too much. Lapo and Richie Hall called one hell of a game as Coordinators today hats off to them.

Claridge group involving Montreal businessman Stephen Bronfman attends Alouettes
3Down Staff 3downnation November 10, 2019

The Montreal-based group involving Stephen Bronfman had representation at the Eastern Semi-Final, hosted by the Montreal Alouettes at Percival Molson Stadium Sunday, according to Montreal Gazette reporter Herb Zurkowsky.

Bronfman is the executive chairman of Claridge Inc. which is a company that represents the interests of the Bronfman family and is actively involved in the management of a diverse portfolio of investments in private equity, hedge funds, public equities, and real estate.

Robert Wetenhall has owned the team since 1997 when he brought the team back from the brink of insolvency. He was responsible for the team’s successful relocation and eventually expansion while overseeing the team’s run of dominance from 1999 to 2012 when the Als finished first in the East Division nine times in 14 seasons, winning three Grey Cups. However, the Alouettes have struggled in recent years, missing the playoffs for four straight seasons, the longest streak in franchise history.

The Lenkov brothers are still in the mix to buy the team. They’ve been at Alouettes games on the road and in Montreal while cheering them on publicly on social media.

Peter Lenkov is a 55-year-old writer and producer. He studied film at Concordia University in Montreal. Jeffrey Lenkov , who is 53 years old, is a lawyer based in California. The younger brother went to McGill University.

The CFL officially purchased the Alouettes from the Wetenhall’s in late May. The league and Wetenhall family had been working for several months to identify and assess potential new owners and that process is ongoing with Randy Ambrosie leading the way.

It could be a competition between two groups as the next owners of the Alouettes.

Thank you Craner, I hope the Als sale gets done Bronfman would be a great add and would be awesome if he can bring the Als ownership stability and bring back les Expos too. If Bronfman is in it was mentioned he might consider having the Alouettes as a tenant for the new Expos ballpark? if that's the case I wonder what sort of design they can do to make it cfl and mlb friendly seating dimension wise?

+1

Have people not learned anything from the disastrous result of combining football and baseball at Skydome and Olympic Stadium? If you want to kill off the Alouettes and a new Expos franchise revisiting that fiasco is the quickest way to do it.

I think the main reasons were being cold sterile domes with 20 to 30 thousand seats over the needed capacity of the football and baseball teams. With Molson stadium being so antiquated if Bronfman buys the alouettes he will have to pump money into upgrading Molson stadium sooner or later if he does not move them into the new Expos ballpark.

Eskies looked good but Montreal really showed their youth and lack of experience today. Not going for it on 3rd and 1 and some of the passes Adams made into coverage were just silly and they should have blitzed and shown much more pressure when Harris picked them apart for 22 straight completions.

Didn't we already go through this? Pictured is the modern equivalent, not a dome and not 50 years ago when it was fashionable. Bad, but justifiable idea then, even worse and not justifiable now because we should know better from our past mistakes.
