Wow! It's hard to believe how far along it is compared to last time I was down at that corner (some time ago now)

Don't tell me that some of those lower panels are non-transparent spandrel? There must be a better way to handle glazing on those floors?

Yup - to hide the void spaces / partial floors created by the curved ceiling.

Highlighting that unoccupied space with the spandrel really undermines the point of doing the "lifted skirt" gesture for the entry. Should've taken some cues from Ryerson SLC.

Also, by now one would expect curved glass for rounded corners. Looks pretty discount-job all round...

The amount of spandrel does seem excessive.

Those lighter coloured mullions are just angled to catch the light differently.
So I doubt they'll light up.

Agreed.

The skirt concept with step backs in the back corners looks great - better than I imagined.

The glazing and spandrel is a huge disappointment though. Really detracts from the building and unfortunately makes it looks cheap.

I have been wondering if I should visit Harbour Center lookout before this is topping out but I think the view won't be blocked by this tower? Not sure if the crane is already in the view right now?

Thanks! I need to see about visiting the observation deck perhaps next weekend. Never been up there!

The best is to go right before the sun goes down, so you see the city in the day, dusk and night!

The ticket is good for the whole day; you can go back. So a keen photographer might want to go earlier, when the sun is in the east, and the views westwards are good, and again later when the sun has moved to the west. Then views eastwards are clear. And you're right, you might try for the evening and night shots as well.

The website says that the lookout is still closed.
