Give that kind of statute of limitations a try if you are ever running for office.

I knew it was a really bad word as a kid in the 70s.

Actually, when we first began having discussions about the use of the n-word, and some posters were, um, very passionate about it being verboten, I actually did a search for fun.

If I were some people on here I might actually do a search of the real n-word with my username. And maybe do a quick edit!

Alas, it's too late for our friend vid. But he's a big boy. He can take it.
I can take it. I mean... I just did. Nothing happened. Still here. Had a good laugh. Checked out some old pages of old threads. Good times!

Can you take it? I question that because you seem to take all of these discussions incredibly personally, like there are some kind of stakes at play here... the truth is, this forum is of no consequence. If I gave you my boss's email or my mom's email or the email of many of my friends—people who's opinions of me I care about—and you told them what I said back in 2011... I don't think they'd give a fuck. I think they'd read the things I posted, and respond with "other than using the n-word, what exactly is wrong here?" And then when I told them "yeah, we were debating whether or not people should experience any consequences for using that word in full in public and he dug up those posts to pwn me" they'd probably then respond with "I don't understand why you talk to people online about things, it's meaningless and changes nothing, now get back to work".

But, uh.... way to go?

You remind me of past-me. Like when I read your posts, I'm like "shit, this is how I looked back then! No wonder so many people didn't like me then!"

Like, because of you, I get it now.

And I added this into the previous post (confusing, I know) because I don't want this to go off topic any further than it has.

BTW I'd never ever dox anyone on here including you.

Some people on here would probably be really surprised that I know their true identities and what they do for a living. Some might even be a bit stressed if they learned that. (And yeah, maybe there are a few people on here who could surprise me by identifying my real identity too.)

I have given that some thought in past, but tbh I prefer the climate here.
I'd rather see freedom-lite become freedom-north

I have never touched criminal law in my life. But if I did practice criminal defence, I'd have to imagine that a boom in guns could only be good for business.

Something weird going on in old town Quebec City tonight.

Cops all over the place. People told to lock doors and stay inside. At least one woman taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Suspect is dressed like a samurai.

Area where this is going on: from Quebec parliament (outside walls) to Château Frontenac (inside walls).

Also reports he is dressed in "medieval" costume.

thanks. my french is shitty, but semi-functional. gets better with dranks though...

tbqh, I'm surprised Halloween hasn't seen more terror shenanigans in recent years. guess that luck had to run out someday...

as a reminder, random normie targeted violence is always shitty. there's plenty of people and entities that actually deserve that violence.
