Le Hotel Glace, The ICE HOTEL, Quebec PART II

One of the evenings we were in Quebec City, we took a drive 30min out of the city to see the HOTEL GLACE(Ice Hotel) that is built every year. I was not to excited to go see it, but let me tell you I am glad we went. It was amazing. Friggen cold, but amazing

The hotel features a night club, chapel, hot tubs, a bar, and themed hotel rooms, all made out of snow and ice. Evening the wiring was built into the snow and ice. It was really well down. No matter how cold outside, the inside of the hotel stays a even -7C on average.

So lets take a look at the Hotel Glace.

Even the cups are ice as you can see

The different themed rooms.

thanks for the photos! I have also visited the Ice Hotel in Quebec, but alas it was before the days of digital cameras.

That must have taken a lot of effort to build! I wonder how high of temperature it can withstand?

The design of the hotel looks a bit cold and austere to me....don't know why?
