Yeah, this is the new Nelson on the Park.

It is about 10 meters shorter (though not as short as I thought the new proposal would be)

It amazes me how tight towers in Vancouver can cram in 60 floors. Same floor counts elsewhere in Canada (even in Burnaby) seem to get towers over 200m

I preferred the old proposal more but this one still has promise. (Should continue the wave to the bottom)

I also liked original proposal more. It's unfortunate how both this and Butterfly would be exactly the same height, making skyline less appealing. Good to see this alive but a small step backwards.

This is a really nice proposal in its own right, but the previous Nelson on the Park proposal was much better. The height also looks weird given that it's now at the same height as The Butterfly. I'd take it either 5m shorter or 5m taller.

With the Butterfly and this project so close to each other, it totally blocks a good portion of the Barclay Village project, haha. Still a nice looking cluster, though.

It would be better for this to be further apart from Butterfly and right next to the intersection. Placement midblock is a bit strange and pushes it to be so close.

This block is going to be crazy dense and some of the lower floors will not have a lot of light.

That's the problem we get when the City only allows selective up-zoning. West End's previous upzone, unfortunately, only covered a few spots, and this is the result. I don't think they even allow anything else except residential, which is very unfortunate. We may have more residential buildings here but it will just be another boring neighbourhood that few would step foot on.

With that said, this is a beautiful building, but too bad it will be squeezed in with a bunch of tall buildings in the near future. Also notice the table-topping of this new wave of residential towers.

I like the new proposal.

The undulations relate to the jenga style of the neighbouring towers on Barclay and the curves relate to the Butterfly.

The write-up says the panels are stainless steel.

Not sure if the skygardens mean that this is another tall tower with exterior breezeway/galeforceway access to units.

Presumably the crown will light up.

It even looks similar to the early Butterfly concepts:

From the floorplans, it looks like the trees may be on the outside of enclosed hallways.
There's a swimming pool (small) on the 17th floor.
