Kidding...

But I am going flying soon (Prop instead) and will be taking more pictures yay! *crosses fingers*

But anyways, just wanted to say that and also, it's biking season so I will be out taking pictures of construction.

I am not up-to-date with all the construction projects around town, so I was wondering if anyone can pick out some places that I can take pictures of when I am oot and aboot.

Most likely will be heading out tomorrow. My limits are the city limits.

Cheers,
Adam

Most significant projects underway is the renaissance second tower and the old east towers at King and Rectory I think.

I've been working on a London development map which can be seen on the lovelondon homepage. (http://www.lovelondon.ca)

Most of the projects are listed there but there's still some work to be done.

All your projects are correct but Hale/Trafalgar. That one's done but I'd love to see some pics from the completed structure! The Wonderland Widening would be cool to see to as I haven't been that way since the route was under construction.

Also I'd love to go up in a balloon sometime this summer. Is it too late to book it? Not sure how these things are done.

Oh yeah and I also want to take pictures of recently completed projects.

You can book anytime of the year but we fly from the beginning of May - end of October.

Send me a PM and I can hook you up with a cheaper flight.

Ah, it's been a while since I have uploaded any new pictures of London from above!

I forgot when I actually did fly, but it was sometime this month. Right around the beginning of the month I believe... I was just kind of lazy to upload all the pictures from my iPhone to Facebook, then from Photobucket to here. But they're here!

Remember these photo's aren't taken with my Canon, but my iPhone since it was such short notice that I was flying. But nevertheless.... enjoy.

Also, here's a quick little video of pretty much a 360 degree view of London. Sorry if I might of moved too fast.
Video Link

And another video of people on their balconies as we fly over. These apartment buildings are the ones behind Loblaws on Southdale and Wonderland. Just passed the second building is a small pond and a shrub field, where we ended up landing.
Video Link

Like always, I will try to get up more often and take pictures of the requested area's states previously. I was tried my best to take pictures of any construction as you can see in half the pictures.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and comments are very welcome!

Thank you!

Awesome!

Thanks especially for getting Nuvo Condos in there! Looks like the second building has begun construction.

Awesome photos once again Wisper!

The 4th last picture is Andover and Viscount: my neck of the woods. In fact, a lot of pics from your latest update are from the Westmount area.

Simpseatles - Thanks, we drive by the place all the time on our way back from a flight, so I couldn't forget to take pictures of it.

haljackey - Yeah we flew right over the Westmount area. As you can see we came from Fleetway (where we always take-off from) and headed South, flew directly over Westmount Lions Park and Jesse Davidson Park. And I live right down the street too

Did you fly over downtown on Thursday, Whisper? I saw the BX93 balloon around 6pm from Richmond and Carling.

And as always, cool pictures.

We have done so many flights that I couldn't remember each of them. But no I myself did not fly. I have only gone up for a flight once this year.

It costs:
http://www.sundanceballoons.com/purchase/purchase1.cfm

So it ranges on when you fly really.

Morning are the best to fly.

^Awesome pictures!

Great to see the progress of the Sarnia road overpass, and new business building at UWO. The Crown on King also stands out in some of the shots facing downtown.

Wow Wow Wow! Awesome pictures as always!

This picture looks like a good contender for the London Wikipedia article to show urban sprawl.

Are you ok with having it displayed there? Let me know, no biggie if you're not.

Wow, great shots. We are lucky to have a hot-air ballonist amongst our contributors!
