It's about 866' to the tip top of the crown.

That drone pano would make sense at 419' and 773'. Maybe 419' is the view from the first residential level while 773' would be a penthouse view.

Judging by the renderings, plan, and the quality and specific heights of the pano's, this seems like it may have a strong backing. It is a beautiful building!

Thanks Kevin for the update on Frost Tower. I'm sure glad that they are doing some exterior remodeling on the crown, and hoping it will light up brighter at night like it first did when the tower was completed. Miss seeing that snow white on top.

I agree with your sentiment, but it would need to be more than 100' taller to be a supertall. I just hope we don't see an Austin TOWERS post tomorrow with "NOPE" going across the rendering a la Block 185.

There's also Ego's in a parking garage on South Congress and Riverside. It used to be a great dive bar music venue until about ten years ago when they switched to a karaoke bar.

It's surprising to me what with all the activity occurring or being planned in the immediate area that there has yet to be any news regarding the old post office site.

It is really surprising - especially since Endeavor owns the site.

Here are a couple renderings of the upcoming Line Hotel. Most of the changes are to the interior as this hotel group seems to embrace the mid-century look. The link below the renderings has hotel info and more interior renderings.
