La Clara is a very attractive condo tower. Was downtown yesterday for my mothers birthday at Elizabettas. Drive by The Square and was suprised at the dense tropical look of it. Loving the new vibe. Didnt realize the cheesecake factory had closed. I was also reading how the AMC is going to be demoed for a new residential tower. I guess that people that live downtown just dont go to the movies that much. Sad to see it go as well.

It seems like Cheesecake Factory isn't closing down, but they are planning on moving to a bigger space at 575 Rosemary. Similarly, AMC isn't closing down for long as they plan on moving into the new tower that was proposed, which will have newer movie theaters and technology, even though the space might be smaller. It's good news for fans of both establishments

Icon Marina Village

Officially completed and will be moved to the recently completed tab. This is a two tower development that sits outside of the downtown core.

When completed, Marina Village will have more than 1,000 residential units and over 100,000 square feet of retail and office space.

^ Wow, I completely forgot about the full plan. This area is going through a large transformation.

Olara has started construction

two 26-story luxury towers offering 275 condos and 210 rental units.

Completion slated for 2026

Sources report that the residences at Olara are just one piece of the puzzle. The venture will include 80,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center, an open-air yoga studio, a Japanese-style spa, and a library––just to name a few. Additionally, the development will offer a 30,000-square-foot restaurant and an epicurean marketplace. This will all take shape on a build site measuring 1.82 acres.

Related Group reveals plan for condo in West Palm Beach (Photos)
https://www.bizjournals.com/southflo...alm-beach.html

Quote:
The Related Group is seeking to rezone a waterfront property in West Palm Beach to build a 25-story condo tower.

The city’s Plans & Plats Review Committee will consider plans for Apogee West Palm Beach during the afternoon of July 13. Miami-based Related Group, through affiliate 4906 N Flagler Drive LLC, acquired the 1.45-acre site at the same address for $16 million in 2022.

Designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica, Apogee would total 231,803 square feet, with 46 condos and 105 parking spaces. There would be two units per floor, ranging from 2,754 square feet to 2,902 square feet, each with three bedrooms.

Most of the parking would be valet only. There would be five parking spaces on the ground floor and the other 100 parking spaces on floors two and three would be accessed via car elevators. The cars would be stacked with lifts.
Meanwhile, the Related Group and BH Group are working on plans for a condo at 1717 N. Flagler Drive, likely with Ritz-Carlton branding.

From this image and the change.org link, I can assume it's probably correct or close to correct for the building height and floors.

The original project's website allows you to write a letter to the city for support of the project.

1701 and 1717 N Flagler are two different lots that will be combined into one at the end of construction. The project is a high rise residential development that consists of two towers; one tower with rental units and another with condo units. This will be a phased project, the condo unit building being built out first

The Long Awaited West Palm Point is finally about to break ground

CRBC to Break Ground on 26-Story Office Tower, Parking Garage in Downtown West Palm Beach

Quote:
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. — Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. of Florida (CRBC) plans to soon break ground on West Palm Point, a 26-story office tower located at the intersection of Okeechobee and Quadrille boulevards in downtown West Palm Beach. Situated near the Intracoastal Waterway, the 2.4-acre development will comprise a full city block and includes an adjacent, 10-story parking structure that will feature a rooftop gathering area with a café, shaded seating and a water feature.

Designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners and Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolf, the office building will have a landscaped rooftop park, 14,416 square feet of ground-floor retail space, multiple fast-casual restaurants, a fitness center and conference rooms.

John Criddle, Joe Freitas and Max Pawk of CBRE will lead local marketing and leasing efforts in partnership with Marc Horowitz from Cohen Brothers in New York. CRBC plans to begin construction on West Palm Point in the fourth quarter, with expected tenant occupancy beginning in the third quarter of 2026.

Wow, I'm surprised they're breaking ground on more office, especially in this market. Thanks for sharing.

Edit: (Didn't want to make another post) I've updated the main post to add a banner, inspired by Birmingham, Vegas, and Hamilton.

Not bad, I like how the garage has the amenities on the top. Wish they were able to build the original 38 stories they wanted though. Would’ve been a statement piece for the entrance of downtown and a cool site viewed from anywhere.

My only beef is that the new tallest is on the periphery of the CBD. Can WPB build taller than One West Palm ?

I mean, theres enough demand for a 500 footer, but no community support to back a type of project like that anyway.
